The Imaginary Dead Ex-Girlfriends series was created over a period of a couple months in mid-2007. All of the images were inspired directly by some strange dreams concerning femininity, fertility, and motherhood. This is an interesting development in that the images haven't shied away entirely from the idea of the pinup; but they're quieter and more isolated, and the male (monster) character is mostly absent.
